Umera Ahmed is one of the most widely-read and popular Urdu fiction novelist and screenplay writer of this era. I just want to point out the demerits with the merits. Aab-e-hayat was NOT perfection like its prequel.
However, in reality the book is more about the difference between munafiqeen and baa-amal Muslims. The book just looks like its the first draft and could really use some re-editing. First of all two protagonists i,e Salaar and Umama were not as same as portrayed in peer e kamil. Thanks for telling us about the problem. That’s really what’s happened in this novel, that Umama has died. Her initial stories were published in monthly urdu digests and later came out in the form of books.
