Fundamentals of Photonics
He is currently involved in research in quantum optics, lightwave communications, and sensory perception. Refresh and try again. Be the first to ask a question about Fundamentals of Photonics. The Second Edition also features entirely new chapters on photonic-crystal optics including multilayer and periodic media, waveguides, holey fibers, and resonators and ultrafast optics including femtosecond optical pulses, ultrafast funfamentals optics, and optical solitons.
Now in a new full-color edition, Fundamentals of Photonics, Second Edition is a self-contained and up-to-dateintroductory-level textbook that thoroughly surveys this rapidlyexpanding area of engineering and applied physics. He is the Deputy Editor of the journal Quantum Optics.

A few typographical errors aside, this book is pretty good and extremely comprehensive, I just wish it funramentals more proofs and some more examples throughout the text.
Most of the proofs are left as exercises without getting covered thoroughly in the book itself. Whatever you pay, it worth it You are currently using the site but have requested a page in the site.
