Con riguorsas tecnicas documentales semejantes a las empleadas en Stalingrado pero con mayor aliento epico y mas densidad politica, Beevor describe tanto la complejidad de berlinn grandes operaciones militares y la logica de las decisiones de sus mandos como los sentimientos de la gente comun atrapada en un torbellino de fuego y metralla.
At the same time someone who attempts to deal with such a broad topic should be commended but maybe the brevor should have narrowed the scope si It is not a waste of time to read this as I learned ka lot of details about the Eastern Front but I think that it wasn’t time well spent.
For me it just became a series of caiea of numerous atrocities.

He does an admirable job of making an interesting read out of a rather excruciatingly boring topic. At the same time someone who attempts to deal with such a broad topic should be commended but maybe the author should have narrowed the scope significantly.
