He even begins to learn about what love is, amazingly enough. After he is denied by Lady Juliet Spencer, his intended bride, he finds himself in quite the predicament.
So night time only exists in a sense of darkness, not jil, a sense of sleep needs apparently.

There’s a lot to this story the book is longish at pages of how Joy and the Duke get along and face their differences and trials and tribulations. Joy has been a screw-up witch who has mainly lived with her aunt. LibraryThing recommendations and tag cloud.
She might even have gotten Alec to laugh — and to cherish her — if it had not been for the truth she hid. For me, the negatives of this book is that the connection between these is somewhat murky at times. Joy is a spunky, sweet heroine who breaks through the ice surrounding Alec’s heart. The hero is a rich duke, who is dumped by his almost betrothed. Every time she sneezes, she creates what’s on her mind – it’s like a really bad Disney movie. Joy often finds herself in situations that are comical.
I know the author wants to create a heroine who is adorable but in my opinion, she is incompetent, and silly to boot. It’s a witty and occasionally downright funny love story. He is nothing but a curt bully.
The story of there time together is very entertaining but it feels like it gets made up as you go along, everything from the limitations on her powers to Alec’s family history It’s cute, it’s funny, charming, silly, romantic, sexy.
I think I was supposed to really like the heroine and get frustrated with the hero. Macbeth will make you smirk.

I think the love scenes were a little too much Little does he know she’s a witch and that she had inadvertently zapped herself there by mistake. Bubbling with laughter, filled with spirit, she turned stately Belmore Park upside down with merriment and strange occurrences.
If this is what the author has to offer I wont be searching out any more of her books.
