Flusser has assembled the largest andmost diverse collection of stylishly mantled men ever found in one book. I think that Flusser’s taste in clothes is a little “dandier” than mine. Look at those fabrics — wow, I wish I could get my hands on those: A very useful and applicable guide.

Yes, Rules, what a gentleman does dtessing does not, in a sartorial way. It is well done though, with cohesive writing, interesting images and good layout. So, there were two that I can just think of right off the top of my head that would complement this book. Hundreds of wonderful shots of classic and modern mens clothes, with dos and don’ts clearly illustrated.

It is probably not essential to own a copy, but I will probably continue to check it out of the library from time to time to refresh my memory and, perhaps, to draw inspiration from those vintage photographs of Cary Grant.

Neiman Marcus sales person highly recommended this book as the guide for choosing timeless men’s clothes. This is not a book to be taken lightly! Stellar photos, comprehensive organization, and attention to the smallest sartorial details imbue the book with a perfect blend of nostalgia and freshness.
